For Monday Oct. 8. Rock and Mineral Quiz - You will need
to be able to ID samples of the rocks and minerals we have gone over
in class and that you have in your lab kit. This is closed
book. I will be asking for you to tell me what each sample it.
The lab will be on topographic maps. Read what is labeled
Lab 1 Topographic Maps (pages 4-9) before class. This is in your
lab kit. We'll go over some map basics and get you started on
new Lab.
Turn in previous lab.

For Monday Oct 1 Lab : Read over labs 3, 4 and 6 (pages 44-63

work on selection of questions from lab handouts during lab (this is

will be at end of the lab and be on what we go over in
lab.
LAB Kit should be obtained from bookstore. Please bring
with you to next lab.
